Tonight Ana Maria was to give a performance of Mexican folk dance at a dance studio here in La Plata. She has a suitcase full of traditional costumes with her now, where hopefully they have just departed Houston. Plan B was a recital of Japanese traditional song in by our friend and hostess Irene. It was a bittersweet time, meeting new friends at the reception that was supposed to be for Ana Maria.
